In the world of technology things move so fast. New things are being invented all the time. New technologies, particularly cloud services, are a fertile ground for new technology innovation. It can be a challenge to remain current. What is all this new stuff capable of?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Dangers of Living in a Bubble<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You don\u2019t know what you don\u2019t know, especially if you don\u2019t look. Worse still, there are whole organizations and communities that live in their own bubbles, detached from the rest of the world. If they don\u2019t look outside, they are missing out. Potentially propagating myths or outdated ideas. It\u2019s a bit like the fake news phenomenon. Opinions get propagated without proper understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>From Best Practice to Better Practice<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>What was best practice in the 1990\u2019s, or even 2010, is likely to be replaced by new and better ideas and techniques today. (Although not always.) The antidote? Seek multiple views, just like you\u2019d get multiple estimates to fix your roof or heating. Speak to those you trust, but even then, don\u2019t rely on just one source or opinion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Be careful out there.
